The problem with the Drawings filtering options for the catalogue has been fixed and the filters are now showing correctly.

Customers can now buy a digital file image for many of our drawings. Refer to the HMRS Trading Process for details and an explanation of discounts for members and factors relating to specific products.

Once you select a product with an image present you will find two buttons next to each other. One is for the printed version of the image and you will have to select the size required from the pull down menu. The other puts the digital image in the basket. This will incur no postage at checkout. Once we have received the order we will send the image by email or other electronic transfer to the email address used to purchase the image.

The society holds over 300,000 drawings in its collection held at its Museum & Study Centre. Mostly for railway rolling stock, they cover the period from 1840s to the 1980s. More information about the collections can be found here. Drawings Collection

 Whilst every care is taken by the volunteer team cataloguing, errors will creep in and so if anybody finds or suspects an error then please will they contact the Drawings Archivist, and he will arrange to have the error corrected.

The 'featured drawings' page on our previous website has been removed and any new or highlighted drawings will be found on the Drawings Collections page.
